Updated! Ballot Harvesting Scheme Caught on Camera in MN

Project Veritas (Latin for “Truth”) has done some investigative reporting in Minnesota, before, but their latest video release may be the most compelling evidence they’ve yet produced of an organized voter fraud scheme in the state.

This time, Project Veritas, led by James O’Keefe has revealed a ballot harvesting and vote buying scheme they allege involves political allies and associates of Representative Ilhan Omar (D-MN-5th District).

Liban Mohamed is one such operative who is featured in the video. “Numbers don’t lie. Numbers don’t lie. You can see my car is full. All these here are absentees’ ballots. Can’t you see? Look at all these, my car is full. All these are for Jamal Osman… We got 300 today for Jamal Osman only,” he said, showing off stacks of absentee ballots he’d ‘harvested.’ “I have 300 in my car right now,” Mohamed went on in a personal Snapchat video that was recovered by Project Veritas.

Before even looking at where the ballots came from, multiple counts of an election crime are indicated. Although leftist groups tried to use the courts to undo Minnesota’s prohibition on ballot harvesting, the law was eventually defended and upheld by the state Supreme Court, meaning one person may only handle and deliver 3 absentee ballots on behalf of others.

Left-wing district court judge, Thomas Gilligan (originally appointed by Governor Dayton) bears a sizable share of blame for the ballot harvesting mess. Although his outrageous and erroneous ruling to halt enforcement of important anti-fraud provisions in Minnesota’s election law was ultimately overturned by the Supreme Court, he opened a brief but chaotic window wherein ballot harvesting was declared “legal” by the Court.

It’s not yet clear whether all of the ballot harvesting depicted in the videos fell within the window Gilligan opened. At least some of it likely did, given the timing of the city council special election and Gilligan’s order. Two of the videos are dated outside that window. Either way, the videos clearly demonstrate why ballot harvesting needs to be prohibited and why Thomas Gilligan needs to be removed from the bench when he comes up for reelection in 2022.

“Our investigation into this ballot harvesting ring demonstrates clearly how these unscrupulous operators exploit the elderly and immigrant communities,” said O’Keefe.

Numerous media outlets rushed out stories (like this one) to “debunk” the Project Veritas release, using ad hominem attacks and primarily citing a “rebuttal” by “non-partisan researchers.” Those “researchers” call themselves the Election Integrity Partnership, a coalition of left-wing academics that’s newly sprung into existence and which lists among it’s partners, the Open Society Foundation. In case this foundation isn’t familiar, it’s the machine that George Soros uses to distribute billions of dollars to Democrat and left-wing causes and meddle in the election process. It was Soros money that attempted (with some degree of success) to install allied secretaries of state across the nation, through the Secretary of State Project. Influencing elections was the stated goal. Former Minnesota Secretary of State Mark Ritchie who presided over the Coleman-Franken recount of 2008 was one of Soros’ early successes through that project.

The newly-minted “Election Integrity Partnership” is plainly no example of non-partisanship, objectivity or legitimate research.

Project Veritas says the initial video from Minneapolis is only the first in a series. It’s already a bombshell. It’ll be worth watching to see what else they have in the pipeline.
